Senior defensive tackle Leevon Perry will not play at Kansas State

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- One of the stalwarts of the Bison defense will not play at Kansas State.

Craig Bohl says that senior defensive tackle Leevon Perry will be suspended for the season opener after a DUI arrest earlier this summer.

Perry was pulled over on a routine traffic stop on July 7th according to NDSU campus police.

Bohl says that Perry will plead guilty to the DUI charge..Perry tore his ACL late last season and has been rehabbing to be ready for the start of this year.

South product Danny Luecke will start in Perry's spot.

Another note from camp, linebacker Travis Beck has re-injured his surgically repaired shoulder, his status is questionable.
