ND delegation announces $3.4 million for airports

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota's congressional delegation says the state has been awarded more than $3.4 million in grants for airport improvements.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota's congressional delegation says the state has been awarded more than $3.4 million in grants for airport improvements.

The largest grants are for about $642,000 for Langdon, $637,000 for Rugby, $631,000 for Cando, $592,000 for Carrington, $300,00 for Glen Ullin, and $300,000 for Langdon.

Smaller projects are in the works at Wahpeton, Golden Valley, Washburn, Kindred and Mercer County.

The grants were awarded by the U.S. Department of Transportation with fund appropriated by Congress.
