Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- The excitement for the upcoming Bison football season is at a fever pitch; the team reports to camp tomorrow and opens practice on Saturday; and fans can't wait.

Today single game tickets went on sale for the 6 home games at the Fargodome and were gone in less than two hours.

NDSU had already maxed out at 12,100 season tickets; so between 1 thousand and 14 hundred tickets were remaining; but once the ticket office opened at 8 AM it didn't take too long.

Josh Hemmingway, NDSU Director of Ticket Operations, says, "With the increased demand for season tickets and us unable to fulfill the requests that we got think we anticipated that there will be quite a few people

wanting to get their hands on single game tickets think it was going to go quick just not 2 hours quick there's some new teams Delaware State and Ferris State that we haven't seen before it's Bison football people

want to see Bison football that's what it's getting to now."

NDSU sets aside 4,000 tickets for each home game for students; Hemingway

says a majority of people ordered online.
