Detroit Lakes, MN (WDAY TV)-- WeFest isn't the only headlining attraction in DL.

A couple of guys on Big Detroit Lake were turning heads today as they were flying above the water.

It's called fly-boarding, and it might be the next phenomenon at the lake.

Jesse Gavic- Flyboard MN: "It's just a water propelled jetpack, that's the best way to describe what it is.

"There's no other feeling like it, you're up there in the air flying, you feel like a bird.

Caleb Gavic- Flyboard MN: "Just flying flying 40 to 45 feet in the air."

"It's relatively easy, most people get up within 5-15 minutes."

"You turn it on and off from the flyboard so you don't need anyone on the jetski."

"You can do backflips you can do dolphin dives you can do spins all kind of underwater just diving underwater if you wanted to.

The feeling, I really can't describe anything like it. I've been skydiving i've done every kind of land sport water sport I really can't relate it to anything else."

"I mean everybody says I want to be like IronMan. They watch Ironman and say I want to do that, this is the closest thing that you can to that."

The guys will be doing demos on Big Detroit Lake, right by the Holiday Inn for the next 3 days.

The jet pack hooks up to any jetski. It costs around 8,000 dollars.
