Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- Baseball fans from across the state will be flocking to West Fargo over the next few days for the state A legion tournament.

It's a short drive for Fargo Post 2, who will try to unseat the host Patriots as state champs.

Post 2 finished the year tied for the 2nd best record in the state at 11-7,

but tie-breakers put them as the 4th seed, putting them in the early game tomorrow against Minot. Post 2 has won 6 of it's last 8 and feels poised for a playoff run.

Luke Rustad- Fargo Post 2 Coach: "I think, as a team, top to bottom we're solid. There's no real weak spot. We don't excel in any one particular thing. We just do a lot of things well."

Joe Hallock- Fargo Post 2 Catcher: "The team's goal here is to win a state championship. Every player talks about it. If we can find that edge, that toughness, to keep grinding even on days where you don't want to be at the ballpark as much as you'd like. The kids have to find a way to grind and find that enthusiasm and I think we built on that in our last doubleheader and I think it's something that's going to continue to get better."

The tournament is underway, Williston is playing Dickinson, with Jamestown versus Mandan to follow.
