Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- You may not have noticed a change at the pump just quite, but regular unleaded gasoline is disappearing rapidly from North Dakota stations.

It's all in response to a federal renewable fuel standard.

Gas stations are moving away from offering 87 octane gasoline that does not contain ethanol.

North Dakota Petroleum Marketers Association Spokesperson says the group is not happy about the change.

They feel there's still a big demand for regular gasoline without ethanol, as many people with older vehicles can't use ethanol blends.
