Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- We know tonight where all the Fergus Falls kids are
The back-yard of Isaiah Lawson.
Today, Make A Wish granted Isaiah a "dream playset."
This after the little boy survived a brutal cancer battle this past year.
Word has spread, and half the town is here tonight for the big reveal.
A play-set for a kid who has weathered the storm and given many new perspective.
Building a "bragging rights" style play set takes time, tools and TLC.
Piece by piece, Isaiah's play set started to take shape.
A slide, rock wall, swings and more. All this for a 5-year-old who has been through everything a five year old shouldn't. Teetering on life and death, Isaiah survived an aggressive cancer, through grueling treatments and stem cell transplant. A survivor.
So this was his wish. No fancy trip to the ocean or Disney or the Grand Canyon.
Dan Lawson- Isaiah’s Dad: "He wanted this, in his own back yard."
Isaiah and his family stayed away from the build. It would be a surprise.
As they drilled, he ate ice cream. Not knowing what he would come home to. This he knew, this unlike last year, was a summer free of pic lines, needle stick, tube feedings and chemo.
