MINOT, N.D. (AP) — A North Dakota man accused of threatening to blow up a Social Security office in Minot says he will plead guilty.

A federal court indictment charges 54-year-old Kevin Skiles with threatening to damage or destroy property by means of explosive.

Authorities say Skiles left a voicemail message on the phone of a Social Security representative after identifying himself, giving his social security number, and leaving his phone number.

Skiles allegedly threatened to blow up the building and told the employee, "I'm coming in tomorrow and you guys aren't going to like it."

Skiles told an FBI agent that he left the threatening message, but did not mean it.

The charge carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison.
