Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- A local student is using her passion for exercising and eating well to encourage others to do the same.
West Fargo student 15-year-old Olivia Larson is North Dakota's State Ambassador for Fuel Up to Play 60.
She will help lead the program, which increases access to nutrient-rich foods and 60 minutes of physical activity at school.
She and the other 53 state ambassadors were chosen from more than 1000 applicants.
Olivia Larson- Play 60 Ambassador: "I have a passion for physical fitness. Not so much just sports, but going to the gym and working out. I thought it would be so cool to involve other people, get them to come with me. That's where I found Fuel Up to Play 60 was amazing, because it's a program that gives students a voice."
At six, find out what kinds of projects Larson will help make a reality in local schools.
