Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - The Bison basketball summer reunion tour continued today as NDSU announced that former guard Josh Vaughan has joined Saul Phillips staff as the new director of operations.

Vaughan had spent the last two years as an assistant coach at MSUM. He played four years at NDSU from 2006-10. He joins his former teammate Freddy Coleman who was hired back in June as an assistant and tells me this is where he wanted to be.

Josh Vaughan, NDSU Director of Basketball Operations: “I'm excited to come back home and where I went to school work with guys that were here when I was here. My teammates back here going to be a lot of fun. Every year Saul and Richman say they'd get a little older every year and so want a couple young guys come over and relate to them; Facebook, Twitter; social media easy for us to relate than older guys.”

Vaughan held this same position at Wofford College three years ago.
