Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- Kids in Wahpeton are learning the ins and outs of building their own business.

It's all part of a week long camp teaching kids from age 9 to 13 how to be entrepreneurs.

They start by coming up with their own town. Then a business concept. From there, instructors help them organize and manage the business.

The program costs about 175,000 dollars to run a year, but the director says it will be well worth it down the road.

Barry Striegel- Director of Entrepreneur Camp: "We need to grow up more entrepreneurs. We need to grow up those kind of people who are always looking for opportunity. Entrepreneurs are never bored. Entrepreneurs are always looking for something creative to do."

Soon, this camp could be coming to the F-M area.
