ASIC Cadet Nationals Wrestling

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- Although it started yesterday, the Asics Cadet and Junior Nationals, the largest and most competitive high school wrestling tournament in the world, really kicked into full gear today, with the first and second session of the Cadet Greco.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- Although it started yesterday, the Asics Cadet and Junior Nationals, the largest and most competitive high school wrestling tournament in the world, really kicked into full gear today, with the first and second session of the Cadet Greco.

138 pounds. Team North Dakota's Adam Blees, from Bismarck, gets the 3 point takedown on Trey Meyer from Washington. Blees won the match 3-2.

At 170. North Dakota's Soren McDaniel, from Lisbon, took on Jared Bird from Idaho. Bird got this 2 point takedown and won the match 6-0.

At 200 pounds. West Fargo's Brandon Metz gets a win for Team No-Dak, taking down David Padilla from California for three. Metz triumphed 9-5.

The tourney runs through Friday.
