Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- The Zimmerman trial touched millions of people all across the country.

And the verdict struck a painful cord for teens here in the valley.

Protestors - picketed in Fargo this afternoon chanting "stay strong for Trayvon" hoping to grab attention.

They think the ruling in the case is flat out wrong.

Dylan Leopard- Protesting: "I'm a 17 year-old black male and you know, that could have been me, just coming home from a gas station, get shot for no reason you know. And I just feel that Zimmerman, you know just wasn't properly prosecuted. I mean, even if he wasn't wasn't charged for murder, he should have got involuntary manslaughter at least. Just like a DUI, you may not have meant to kill him but you did."
