FARGO, N.D. (AP) — A Fargo-based restaurant and bar is expanding to the Twin Cities.
The owners of JL Beers, which started in downtown Fargo in 2009, have signed a franchise agreement with a Minneapolis-based company led by Mike Wright.
Wright tells The Forum newspaper he plans to open his first JL Beers in north Minneapolis this fall, with more stores expected to follow.
The JL Beers group has stores in Fargo, West Fargo, Bismarck, Grand Forks, Moorhead, Minn., and Sioux Falls, S.D.
The restaurant is known for its hamburgers, fresh-cut chips and fries, and wide variety of beers on tap.
