Cully's Kids charity golf tournament teed off this morning

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- People are golfing on this hot summer day. To raise money to benefit sick children.

The Cully's Kids charity golf tournament teed off this morning at Oxbow.

Moorhead native and NHL player Matt Cullen was there to kick off the tournament.

WDAY's own Dana Mogck, Kevin Wallevand, and Todd Kurtz put their skills to the test out on the course.

Other celebrity golfers included several NHL players.

Chris Vandevelde- NHL Player: "I've been here for 5 or 6 years, and it's obviously a good cause and a special event that I always come back for. It's a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to next year already."

Proceeds from this weekend's events benefit the Cullen Children's Foundation.
