Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- The annual Cully's kids celebrity weekend has kicked off. And Matt Cullen brought in some big names this year.

His now former Minnesota Wild teammates Zach Parise and goaltender Josh Harding were at the silent auction in Moorhead.

A little over a year ago, Wild fans were celebrating the arrival of Parise and Ryan Suter, the two biggest signings in franchise history.

But, this year it's about a player leaving, the Wild didn't have room to sign Cullen, and he opted to sign with Nashville. Parise and Harding say they'll miss the veteran winger.

Zach Parise- MN Wild Forward: "It's tough he played so well for us last year and he did a lot of things in the locker room with the young players and such a good teammate. You can't replace guys like that, so it's too bad, it's too bad he's not gonna be with us anymore."

Josh Harding- MN Wild Goaltender: "Matt brought a lot to our club, it's no secret that we are gonna miss him and it's no secret he's gonna miss us. It is a business you gotta do what's right for the team and it's a new chapter in our season."

I'm scheduled to be live out at the Cully's kids golf tournament tomorrow at 5 and 6 weather permitting.
