Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- Summer league basketball has become more and more popular recently, and North Dakota has a pretty good program for it.

Team ECI under-17 prospects is coached by former Bison Lucas Moorman.

The team is loaded with local talent, including standouts from Davies, Shanley, West Fargo, and Fargo South. They've already won 2 championships this year, and more importantly they've played some of the top talent across the midwest.

Patrick Strom- ECI Shanley Guard: "I love playing with ECI in the summers because it's always the best players that you're used to playing against and when you get teamed up with them. It's fun to see what you can do as a team. There are also some good players on some other teams. You're always going up against the best competition, which makes you that much better."

Lucas Moorman- ECI Coach- Former Bison Player: "A lot of these kids are from the east. They're really good players. We try to pull the best kids from around the area and around the state to make one good, competitive team. I think we do have some of the best players in the state right now."

The team is out in Milwaukee this weekend, competing in the Next Level invitational.
