Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- It gets even worse for the Twins, they're off to play the Yankees tomorrow.

And look who's back, future hall of famer Derek Jeter kind of surprised everyone, by making his return today following a 9-month rehab from a broken ankle.

The 39-year old captain reached on an infield single in his first at-bat,

scored a run.

He finished the day 1-for-4 in an 8-4 Yankees win over Kansas City. Jeter was pulled from the game due to tightness in his quad.
