West Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - It was a big night for some area basketball fans attending the annual summer basketball bash in West Fargo.

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes brought in guest speaker Jimmy Dykes tonight, a college basketball analyst for ESPN. Dykes has called over 600 games for ESPN and tonight his message to the kids was about his two passions, basketball and faith.

Jimmy Dykes, ESPN Basketball Analyst: “What I do see is a lot of guys now using their platform; different coaches, different athletes that I know. There's even different guys in my profession using their platform to talk about their faith, openly about it. I think that's critical. God has raised me up with a platform at ESPN. I use it a lot more than to just talk about basketball.”
