Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- Twins fans may be sick of hearing it, but seriously the future looks bright.

Today, baseball america released it's top 50 midseason prospects, and on the list, Miguel Sano came in at number 3, while Byron Buxton ranked number one.

Both players will play on opposing teams in the futures game on Sunday.

Since being promoted to Class-A Fort Meyers late last month, Buxton is hitting .364 with 7 RBI. He's excited to showcase his talents in the all-star game this weekend.

"Pretty pumped actually, I'm ready to get up to New York City. It will be my first time up there. Just being able to play on Citi Field and have fun with some of the guys."

The Twins could probably use Buxton and Sano right now, they've lost 7 of their last 8 and open a 4-game series in Tampa Bay tonight.
