Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- At this time tomorrow you could be enjoying fresh cheese curds and elephant ears at the Red River Valley Fair. Final preparations are underway.

Last year, the fair brought in close to 113-thousand people for the week long event.

This year Bryan Schulz the fair's general manager says the goal is 125 thousand people.

Whether it's setting up tables or garbage cans, or even making sure all 29 food vendors are ready for tomorrow, there are a lot of loose ends to tie up.

More than 1,000 4-H projects had to be judged - and some F-F-A displays.

Lucas Schmaltz- Ag Teacher, Northern Cass H.S.: "The students build projects during class and do some different grain samples and things like that - some horticultural exhibits, ornamental plant exhibits, some educational displays and they bring them here more less as a preliminary judging and then they will take them on to the state fair."
