Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - If you were downtown today, you may have seen something unusual hanging from the Hotel Donaldson.
Not a garland of bras this time, but strings of bicycles. It's a striking promotion for the downtown Streets Alive events, which kick off July 14th.
Three miles of downtown Fargo-Moorhead will be blocked off for walking, bicycling, and other outdoor activities.
Rory Beil, CassClayAlive! Director: "We hope it causes people to pause and wonder why they're there and that they'll discover either by asking people or seeing other signs around town that Streets Alive is coming because part of the joy of the event is being in the streets with other people."
Streets Alive is also featured in this month's Bicycling magazine as the top open street event around the country.
