Sanborn, ND (WDAY TV) -- Officials in a small town between Valley City and Jamestown are weighing their options for the 4th of July, after an explosion destroyed all of their fireworks.

Sanborn Authorities don't know what happened. You're looking at a piece of the roof there from the building that was holding the fireworks.

The building is then in the background, it's designed to house explosives and ammunition. The owner of the building says no one was home at the time.

The fireworks are valued at about 3-thousand dollars.
