Houston, TX (WDAY TV) - Ten-year-old Jordan Peterson is resting comfortably at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston.

Twenty-four hours ago, the Fargo boy had a scare with his new transplanted lungs that sent him back into the operating room. But his doctor says all is well and he will be sleeping in the family's RV this time tomorrow.

It certainly was an unexpected medical scare here in Houston. But once surgeons got Jordan into the operating room and discovered it was just mucus in his lungs, they have now given him the green light to leave the hospital.

Jordan's father, Dan says it was scary for them all, but Jordan's lungs look great, enough to get the green light to leave.

Dan Peterson, Jordan’s Dad: “The lungs look great. They are healing quickly and just like anything healing, you get scabs that break loose as they go and that is what plugged yesterday. Now that we know that, we feel a lot better but when the oxygen dropped, we got concerned and so did they. They rushed him back to ICU and so everything is looking great. We are going to give it a go tomorrow to be released.”
