Texas (WDAY TV) -- Imagine the feeling of new life. That's what Jordan Peterson is looking forward to, now that he's preparing to leave Texas Children's Hospital, with a new set of lungs.
After years of living with cystic fibrosis, and limited breathing, Jordan got the life saving transplant he needed.
And later later this week, he could be out of the hospital and in the family's RV-trailer.
Imagine the change in daily routine for Jordan. For the last year, enduring time consuming daily treatments to clear his diseased lungs. Tiring, long days of just trying to breathe.
Today, Jordan's Dr. George Mallory of Texas Children's continued to be impressed with Jordan's recovery.
It was just one week ago, that Jordan woke up, went off the ventilator, and laid there and listened and watched.
It all still amazes Jordan's parents. Simple things you and I do every living second, now celebrated and appreciated.
Tonight on WDAY 6 news at 10, hear from Jordan. A story you won't forget.
A 10 year old sharing everything from his faith to fears to the message he wants to share with the family and the child that gave him life.
And you can read Kevin's in-depth story on Jordan Peterson in tomorrow's Forum of Fargo-Moorhead.
