MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Some chairs used by famous Minnesotans are on display at the Hennepin County Government Center in downtown Minneapolis.

Included is a chair used by singer Bob Dylan at the Ten O'clock Scholar Coffee House in February 1960.

Also on display is a bentwood chair used by Minneapolis settler Franklin Steele when he provided provisions to soldiers at Fort Snelling in the 1850s.

You can also see a throne-style chair that flanked the main entrance of Young Quinlan's Department Store in downtown Minneapolis in the 1920s.

The chairs come from the collection of the Hennepin History Museum.

The Hennepin Gallery is free and open to the public Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the Hennepin County Government Center Level A.
