Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- Now that summer is in full swing, The City of Fargo wants to keep bicyclists and motorists safe on the road.
The city teamed up with the Police Departments, and the Great Northern Bicycle company to put together a "how to" You Tube video.
The video focuses on the rules of the road for people on 2-wheels and on four.
The City of Fargo has added about 16 miles of on-street bike lanes and shared lanes.
SGT. Mike Bernier- Fargo Police: "It's mainly education about the bike lanes themselves and how their suppose to be used from a bicyclist point of view, but also from a motorist when they encounter a bicyclist on the bike lanes and how they are suppose to negotiate the bike lanes in and of themselves."
If you're not sure what bicycle road markings mean for you, go to "Share The Road Fargo dot com," to watch the 30 second video.
