(WDAY TV) -- Construction season getting underway is set to help North Dakota's already staggering unemployment rate.

For May the state is at 2.8 percent, the lowest in the country. It's slightly above last year's mark of 2.7 percent and might come up in June with recent college graduates looking for work.

But experts call it remarkable. The national unemployment average is at 7.6 percent.
