Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- After seeing Adrian Peterson rush for over 2,000 yards last season, is a balanced offense even possible for the Minnesota Vikings?

That may be the biggest focus of this summer.

Christian Ponder is entering a critical third season.

And he might already feel like a veteran.

Because not one of the guys projected to be among his top four receivers this year have spent more than one year in the Vikings system. So, the quick progress made so far in mini-camp is a positive sign.

"With Greg and Corderrell and Jerome getting better and Jarius I think coming along we got guys getting down field and guys getting open. We've got more plays in and doing some different stuff. I think it has definitely developed but still got a way to go."

3 of Minnesota's top 5 wide receivers from a year ago, are no longer with the team. That's Percy Harvin, Michael Jenkins, and Devin Aromashadu.
