Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- The longest running walleye tournament in North Dakota hit Devils Lake this weekend.

Nearly 200 anglers tried their luck during the 37th annual Chamber Walleye Tournament.

Organizers say it's good fishing, and great for business.

Nearby hotels and restaurants fill up with travelers from as far away as Alaska.

Teams of two reel in the five biggest walleyes they can find for a top payout of $5,000.

Johnnie Candle- Tournament Director: "We pay the top ten, and I do believe we're pushing $13,000 in prize money this year so you can have a great day on the lake, fun with your friends and maybe take home a few bucks when you're done."

Prizes are also given out for the biggest perch, white bass and northern pike.
