Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- We'll never forget hearing Lebron James say not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4.

And so on. But, give the guy credit, he's starting to make good on those promises.

You saw it right here on WDAY last night, James and the Miami Heat had the lead

When it counted in a back and forth game 7 with San Antonio. James hit a big shot late to put his team up four, his 37 points helped him clinch his 2nd straight Finals MVP honors.

And now that decision he made to move to Miami, is paying off.

Lebron James- 2-Time NBA Champ & Finals MVP: "This is what it's all about. I came here to win championships. To be able to go back to back. We've won 2 championships in 3 years, so far, it's the ultimate. I'm going to take full advantage of this one. It's an unbelievable moment for our team."

Dwayne Wade- 3rd NBA Title with Miami: "They're just big time players man, we had guys just step up. It's not just about scoring with this team. It's about so much more. We kept saying, nobody is going to remember what your shooting percentage was. They're going to remember whether you won a championship or not."

As for those fans tracking the James and Michael Jordan comparisons.

Jordan had 3 titles in his first 10 seasons, James just won his 2nd.
