Three killed in fiery multi-vehicle crash near Stanley

STANLEY, N.D. — Authorities near Stanley battled flames from a fiery crash that killed three and involved two semi-trucks and three pickup-trucks Friday morning.

STANLEY, N.D. — Authorities near Stanley battled flames from a fiery crash that killed three and involved two semi-trucks and three pickup-trucks Friday morning.

The Minot Daily News reports the dead are listed as the driver of a 2013 GMC Sierra, a 26-year-old man from Wahpeton, and a 23-year-old male passenger; and the driver of a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado pickup, age 41, from Minot.

Three others were injured, the Daily News reported. The crash involved six vehicles.

The crash happened along U.S. Highway 2 about three miles east of Stanley.
