Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A tire slashing spree hit a Fargo mobile home neighborhood overnight, making the morning commute difficult for people trying to get to work.

Police are still trying to track down people who left more than 20 vehicles immobile.

Police and tow trucks lined the streets of Buena Vista Trailer Court and nearly two dozen people woke up to find their tires slashed when they tried to get to work.

Dustin Anderson, Had Three Vehicles Vandalized: "Well I noticed my wife's car first, her tire was flat, then I looked at mine and mine were flat. Then I looked at my dad's and they were also flat."

Now three cars, including his work vehicle and five tires later, Dustin Anderson is trying to fixing the early morning mess and he's not alone.

Ruben Lopez, Had Tires Slashed: "They're about like an inch big."

The latest numbers from law enforcement show 23 vehicles were hit.

Anderson: "I'm pretty furious, you know, not just for myself but for everybody else. It's one thing if I got targeted, but all these people?

Lopez: “Geez, you know, how could that happen? Someone doesn't respect someone else's property."

So Anderson is taking matters into his own hands.

Andreson: "Right now I'm actually doing security cameras."

While he hopes, along with the rest of the neighborhood...

Lopez: “It's really an inconvenience for everyone.”

That this person, or group of people, will have to pay.

Police say the vandalism appears to be random and right now do not have any suspects.
