FARGO – Fargo police are investigating a rash of vandalism that occurred overnight.
Some garages and at least one home were hit with spray paint in the area near the 1100 block of Fourth Street North and the 300 block of 12th Avenue, said Sgt. Jared Crane.
In addition, Crane said, vehicles in a number of areas of Fargo had tires slashed overnight.
He said as of this morning police had no suspects.
Referring to vandalism as one of the more frustrating types of crime, Crane said there is little homeowners can to do to prevent it. He said one way to discourage vandalism is to “light up” an area as much as possible because well-lit properties seem less prone to that kind of damage.
He said no dollar estimate has been placed on the vandalism.
