Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- The F-M RedHawks need to get things back on track, they've dropped 3-in a row heading into tonight's game with Gary, and starting Monday they'll be on the road for 10 days.

The man that could get them going, is catcher Todd Jennings.

Aside from managing the pitching staff, Jennings has been one of the team's most consistent hitters this season, he's currently hitting .306 on the year, and has driven in 9 runs. It's his 3rd year with the RedHawks, and he's hoping it will be his best.

Todd Jennings- Season: .305 BA, 8 RBI: "I feel great. I leaned up a little bit this offseason. Last year I came in at about 220 pounds, now I'm about 190. I did a lot of stretching and stuff like that to get a little more athletic and be myself."

Doug Simunic- F-M RedHawks Manager: "He's a good hitter, he's going to do a lot of good things for you. He's going to score, going to try to get the ball into play. He's a real good catcher, he doesn't miss a lot of balls. He handles are pitching stuff well."

Jennings is catching a new pitcher tonight, the RedHawks signed Brian Ernst, who just wrapped up his college career in Pennsylvania.

To make room on the roster, the team released pitcher Tyler Hess.
