Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- It's estimated only about a quarter of all people working in technology-related careers are women.
Microsoft is hoping to increase that number by getting the next generation of girls interested in technology.
The company is hosting about 100 female students at the eighth Digi-Girlz camp.
At the three-day workshop, girls 13-17 learn skills like coding and teamwork.
Kelly Obach- Microsoft: "We talk about career-pathing, we talk about building resumes, so really we try and cram as much information as we possibly can into a three day session and get girls really jazzed about choosing a career in technology."
The camp continues through Thursday.
