Grand Forks’ Harmon crowned Miss NDWILLISTON, N.D. – Laura Harmon, of Grand Forks, was crowned Miss North Dakota on Saturday night after three days of competition.

WILLISTON, N.D. – Laura Harmon, of Grand Forks, was crowned Miss North Dakota on Saturday night after three days of competition.
Harmon graduated from Red River High School in Grand Forks and studies environmental geography at the University of North Dakota.
During the competition in Williston, she sang the aria “V’adoro Pupille.”
Energy Kids, Harmon’s primary sponsored program, aims to teach children the value of sustainable living habits. She was selected by a panel of judges out of 21 finalists from across the state.
The Miss North Dakota scholarship pageant awarded $40,000 in scholarships. Harmon will go on to compete for Miss America.
