Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - The Winnipeg Goldeyes sit on top of the North Division in the American Association. But if they keep playing the F-M RedHawks, that stay is going to be over quick.

The RedHawks have taken all four meetings between the two so far this season, including last night's 3-1 win.

Now, the Hawks sit just one and a half games behind co-division leaders Winnipeg and St. Paul. Pitching has led the way for the RedHawks recently, but they say they could use a wakeup call at the plate.

Todd Jennings, F-M RedHawks Catcher: “We just got to take good at bats, have a good approach against these guys, come out throw strikes, get ahead and be aggressive. I felt the last couple of days we weren't very aggressive, especially at the plate.”

Doug Simunic, F-M RedHawks Manager: “We need to pick up our offense a little bit. If we can pick up our offense a little and help Burnside with a few runs I think we can be pretty good; just one inning at a time, one game at a time.”
