Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Fargo's two hospitals are given "B" grades for safety. It comes out of a national study.

Sanford Health and Essentia were scored in patient safety and preventing "hospital-acquired conditions," things like falls and injuries while at the hospital.

Altru in Grand Forks got a "D" grade for falls but all other marks were close to average.

Sanford's spokesperson calls the study reputable but says safety marks do not necessarily reflect quality health care.
