Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - It's one of the most popular apps on the Apple Market and after launching this week for Android, the popularity on the Google Play market promises not to be far behind.
If you want to share life in motion in a unique way, there's an app for that.
What can you say in six seconds? It might be a lot more than you think with Twitter's free Vine App. It lets you shoot and share your own mini-videos instantly. Think of it like Instagram for video.
To make your own Vine Video, you click the app and open the camera. Every time you touch the screen it starts recording. When you let go, it stops. You can hit it as many times as you want up to six seconds. Each move is an edit for your video.
Our director captured his drive into work.
Once you're done you preview your video, add caption or hashtags, and then decide where you want to share it: Twitter, Facebook or email. Then let the likes and comments begin.
The app also lets you explore the millions of other Vine videos out there by topic, hasthag, editor's picks or the most popular.
It has a great feature: When you scroll through the feed of videos, they automatically start playing.
With the touch of a button, Vine also shows you your activity, who's following you and liking the videos you've shared.
Vine is a chance to capture and share so much more than you can in a single snapshot. You never know what you're going to come across, so let the creativity begin.
Fifty billion apps have been downloaded from the Apple Market, 48 billion apps from the Google Play Market.
