Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Two men are in custody and police are looking for two others, they say are involved in an early morning hold up.

Police say the four robbed a cab driver at gunpoint.

Police say the hold-up happened early this morning in the 3300 block of 15th Avenue South and people living here tell me the neighborhood is usually pretty safe.

Katy Duval, Lives Nearby: “I guess it's kind of scary to think about because normally it's a pretty, I would say a safe neighborhood. I've kind of always lived around the area, so there's usually lots of people out walking around and kids are across the street so it's kind of scary to think about.”

Police say the incident happened around 5 this morning outside of an apartment building on Katy Duval's block.

The cab driver is employed by Doyle's and told authorities he responded to a call for a ride to the airport. That's when two men wearing masks pulled a gun and stole his cash bag.

Representatives from Doyle's would not agree to an interview, neither would Lucky 7, another cab company in town. But a manager there says most companies limit the amount of cash drivers carry and says situations like this one don't happen here too often.

Duval: “I've never heard of that. I've used the cabs so it's kind of weird to think about but yeah. I think that's out of the ordinary for Fargo.”

Police and a SWAT team searched an apartment looking for more evidence.

Anyone with more information is asked to contact that Fargo Police Department.
