Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- The suddenly resurgent Minnesota Twins open a week long road trip tonight in Kansas City; looking to keep up their hot play. The Twins have won seven of their last nine games.

Led by second baseman Brian Dozier; who just two weeks ago was benched, but has found his stroke in the last week.

Hitting two home runs on the last home stand; where Minnesota posted a 4-1 record; perhaps a coincidence that the wins have come?

"More hits you get the more confidence you get; and we're winning games got

a little streak going right now confidence level is real high and pitching has been outstanding; defense; everything's clicking so."

This is an interesting road swing for the Twins; after Kansas City; then they head to Washington to likely face Stephen Strasburg, Bryce Harper and the Nationals.
