Tim Alberts, of the RedHawks has popped seven home runs

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- Field after a brief weekend road trip that saw the team keep up it's hot play as of late. The Hawks enter tonight's game with Lincoln having won six of their seven and a big reason why is the middle of their lineup specifically Tim Alberts; who's popped seven home runs to lead the squad and give the lineup some much needed power.

The Hawks enter tonight's game with Lincoln having won six of their seven and a big reason why is the middle of their lineup specifically Tim Alberts; who's popped seven home runs to lead the squad and give the lineup some much needed power.

Time Alberts- Leads Team With 7 Home Runs: "When I got traded up here I was definitely excited to come be a part of a winning team, a good organization,

good everything. So, I'm very excited."

Doug Simunic- RedHawks Manager: "He hit .315, 15 homers, and drove in 73, so we know he has a bat. He's just a guy that we have to let play and hopefully he plays it real good."

The Hawks made a move today; bringing back one of their top offensive threats from two years ago in infielder CJ Retherford. Retherford hit 339 with four home runs and 37 RBI in 54 games with the RedHawks in 2011; he'll be in the lineup tonight; to make room; the Hawks released infielder Jose Garcia and traded Ryan Pineda to Grand Prairie.
