Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- In an emergency, construction will not delay medical crews.
Don Martin, with F-M Ambulance, says construction season is the same as spring flooding or even the Fargo Marathon, it boils down to rolling with the punches.
If a road closes, crews will either get a page, or information will be sent to a computer in the ambulance.
Don Martin- F-M Ambulance- Operations Manager: "That takes into account the impedances as far as how fast a road is, or if a road is closed the computer software will determine which ambulance is the closest based on road conditions and also on road closures."
At all times, there are a minimum of eight Ambulance crews around the metro area.
