Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- The latest craze in New York City is the Cronut.

The donut-croissant hybrid was created by a New York pastry chef and has become a sensation for New Yorkers and tourists with a sweet tooth.

Many pastry lovers wait on a downtown sidewalk as early as 6 a.m. to get their hands on the cronut. Only 200 are baked daily.

The competition for cronuts is so hot that there is now a sizable black market, with people charging as much as 800 percent markups for the baked goods.
