Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Sixty people learned of their impending layoffs.

Technology giant Nokia has laid off dozens of full-time employees at its location in Fargo. Sources say that about 60 employees have been let go, roughly a third of Nokia's Fargo workforce. Some of the fired workers were longtime employees who had been with the company for more than a dozen years.

Nokia is formerly known as Navteq. Nokia purchased the company in 2007 for more than $8 billion.
