West Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - It's 15 years and counting for the West Fargo softball team on its run of state titles.

Their quest for number 16 begins tomorrow and once again Pat Johnson has his team on a roll; 11 straight shutouts, allowing just one run to a North Dakota team all season, and this is the time of year that the Packers live for.

Pat Johnson, West Fargo Head Coach: “This is what your year boils down to. This is what you're hoping. Give yourself a chance to be there. This is where the excitement is. Hopefully they feel that and live up to the moment, come and perform and hopefully that's the way we go.”

Brittany Rheault, West Fargo Jr. Pitcher: “I don't think we get very nervous because we're confident in each other as a team. It's more anxious than nervous so we get really excited this time of year because we want to defend our title.”
