Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - An update on Karen Nyberg's journey into space.

Late last night, Nyberg and two others floated out of their capsule and into the waiting arms of the International Space Station Crew.

The Vining, Minnesota native will spend the next six months there. The crew set a record Tuesday, taking just five hours and 40 minutes to fly from Kazakhstan to the orbiting laboratory. Usually it takes two days.

Karen Facebooked today that she was thrilled to be back at the International Space Station.
