BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Williston State College and the University of Mary in Bismarck are building more housing.
The Minot Daily News reports that a 74-unit apartment complex for Williston State faculty and staff is to open on campus Aug. 1. The building will include 7,500 square feet of retail space on the first floor.
The $8.5 million project got help from the North Dakota Housing Incentive Fund, which aids developers of affordable housing. Housing is in short supply in western North Dakota because of the oil boom.
The Bismarck Tribune reports that the University of Mary is building two apartment buildings north of campus for upper-class and graduate students. The two buildings — one for men and one for women — are to be ready by August.
