ELK RIVER, Minn. (AP) — Hundreds of volunteers have resumed the search for a 2-year-old girl who disappeared from the Wapiti Park Campground in Elk River.

A St. Paul Pioneer Press report (http://bit.ly/10z7uIq ) says more than 250 volunteers were searching Sunday for Daisy Jo Holland. She was last seen Friday about 8 p.m.

Search dogs on Saturday tracked Daisy's scent to the edge of the river but then lost it.

Elk River police say boat teams and divers are continuing to search the river and nearby Orono Lake.

Daisy is 2 feet tall and 30 pounds, with blue eyes and shoulder-length blonde hair. She was last seen wearing black pants and a pink "Hello Kitty" shirt.

Police aren't planning additional ground searches, but they're asking local residents to watch for any sign of the girl.
